Matthew 10:34
In the Bible, the imagery of Jesus returning with a "sword" is interpreted as a symbolic representation of his powerful word and judgment, signifying that his return will bring about a separation between good and evil, where those who oppose him will be judged and condemned, essentially "cut off" by his truth, not a literal weapon; this is most prominently found in Matthew 10:34 where Jesus says "Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth; I have not come to bring peace but a sword."

Daniel 7:13-14
Old Testament Prophecy Daniel 7:13-14: "I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed." This passage describes the Messiah (Jesus) receiving an eternal kingdom.
